Issue Summary :

  • The duration of the outage was 2021–21 5:45 to 2021–29–01 2:00.
  • There were problems with the installation of functional NGINX on port 80.
  • We had the following problem:

curl: (7) Failed to connect to 0 port 80: Connection refused

  • The main cause of the problem was that something unpaired that the installation of Nginxescuche on port 80.

Timeline :

  • We detected the problem on 2021–21 5:45 p.m.
  • Detected when a team member attempts to access the NGINX service over port 80.
  • We immediately agree to review NGINX configuration information
  • The issue was resolved by reinstalling NGINX with the appropriate settings so that there were no problems with these connections.

Root cause and resolution :

In detail the error that there was is that NGINX was not listening to port 80 therefore we were unable to access our server, after the test and some debuggin we determined that we had to remove the default NGINX configuration on our server to make the new NGINX configuration mapping so that it could be accessed from port 80 and finally restart the service.

Corrective and preventative measures :

The problem could be solved by creating a script that automates the installation and configuration of NGINX so that you hear the ports that are required for connections from the work computer requesting to connect to our server
